Welcome to our little Biches & Bûches shop, home to our beautiful natural yarns, along with a selection of yarns from the Danish mill Hjelholt Uldspinderi, specially curated to accompany designs by Danish designers PetiteKnit, AegyoKnit, Louise Klindt, and Anne Ventzel 🐚

The Biches & Bûches Wool and fibers are wonderful natural yarns, each with its own identity. All our Lambswool yarns come from a family-owned mill in Scotland, while our Silk & Mohair, Cotton & Alpaca, and Organic Cotton blends are developed in collaboration with two Italian mills renowned for their expertise. All the mills we work with create and produce with the deepest respect for the environment, the animals, and the people involved. Shearing is an essential part of animal welfare — removing the accumulated excess wool — and is carried out by professional shearers. Our silk comes from cocoons from which the butterflies have already naturally emerged, ensuring that it is an ethical fiber.

The Biches & Bûches collections are distinguished by their rich color palettes and carefully developed, thoughtfully selected qualities. Inspired by our Scandinavian roots, some of our yarns have a slightly rustic feel — the character of a “dry” wool — while others are remarkably soft to the touch. Every design and pattern we create begins with a specific yarn, or with a blend of several yarns, chosen to reveal their unique qualities.

These yarn collections are the result of ten years of reflection, development, selection, and close collaboration with our producers. We hope that, just like us, you will fall absolutely in love with them 🐚
