"The elegant Lou Balaclava, featuring a sophisticated Lou pattern, is worked in a topdown method. The project begins with the top of the head, then stitches are picked up on both sides to knit flat down to the jawline. You can freely adjust the length and the fit or looseness of the face frame line as you knit. After joining the sides below the chin, ribbing is worked. Finally, the face frame line is completed to finish the piece"
