The products presented on www.bichesetbuches.com are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

Any reproduction, distribution, or use — even partial — of designs, photographs, or texts without prior written consent from Biches & Bûches is strictly prohibited.
All content is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Placing an order on this website constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Sale, which prevail over any other document or communication.

2. Products and Pricing

Products are described as accurately as possible.
Knitting kits are sold as do-it-yourself projects; finished results may vary depending on individual technique and experience.

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT for customers located within the European Union (when logged into a Biches & Bûches customer account).
Prices exclude shipping costs.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, or local fees may apply and remain the responsibility of the customer.

Prices may be updated at any time; however, the price charged is the one in effect at the time the order is placed.

3. Orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

Biches & Bûches reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of:

a payment issue,
an obvious pricing or product error,
an existing dispute,
or suspected fraudulent activity.

4. Delivery

Orders are shipped via La Poste – Colissimo, unless otherwise stated.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.
Customers are required to inspect the parcel upon receipt and report any damage to the carrier within 48 hours.

In cases of force majeure (including but not limited to strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, or armed conflict), Biches & Bûches reserves the right to suspend or cancel delivery without compensation.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have:

14 days from receipt of the goods to notify their intention to withdraw,
followed by 14 additional days to return the products.

Returned items must be:

unused,
complete,
free from odors,
and returned in their original packaging.

Digital Products

PDF knitting patterns are digital content not supplied on a physical medium and are non-refundable, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, provided that the customer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and waived their right of withdrawal.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds are issued within 15 days of receipt and inspection of returned items.

6. Payment

Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments and PayPal.
Payment is charged immediately at the time of order confirmation.

Biches & Bûches does not store or retain any banking or payment card information.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, customers may use a free consumer mediation service (such as CMAP or FEVAD) or submit a claim via the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform:

The liability of Biches & Bûches is limited to the total amount of the order.
The company cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper or unintended use of its products.

9. Legal Warranties

Customers benefit from:

the legal guarantee of conformity for a period of 2 years (Article L.217-3 of the French Consumer Code),
and the warranty against hidden defects (Article 1641 of the French Civil Code).

In the event of a proven defect, Biches & Bûches will repair or replace the product at no cost.

10. Personal Data & Privacy

Biches & Bûches complies fully with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data collected is used solely for order processing and customer communication.
Customers have the right to access, correct, delete, or request portability of their data by contacting: info@bichesetbuches.com.

No personal data is shared with third parties without explicit consent.
