We are thrilled to present our second collaboration with Tayler, with her gorgeous design Apiary, created with Le Gros Lambswool!

Tayler writes about Apiary

"Apiary began with the idea of wanting to create a very textured piece, full of depth, that would really let Le Gros Lambswool shine! I love everything about Le Gros Lambswool…the color depth, the squishy fabric it creates, and the rustic and natural qualities it possesses. The finished sweater really highlights all of these characteristics that I love in Le Gros Lambswool."

The sweater is worked flat, in pieces, from the bottom up, starting with 2x2 ribbing, followed by two cable stitch patterns for the main fabric. The shoulders and neckline are shaped using the Sloped Bind Off Method, and the sleeves are shaped using decreases. The sweater pieces are blocked flat and seamed together. To finish, the ribbed neckband is worked in the round from picked up stitches around the neckline.
