We are delighted to present Sensommer Vest designed by Astrid at the Atelier with Le Petit Organic Cotton 🐚

Sensommer Vest is designed as a slightly oversized slipover for warmer days, perfect worn over a shirt or a tee. It is worked with a single strand and features a small colorwork motif at the lower body, adding a subtle folkloric touch with a contrast color. The design is made in Le Petit Organic Cotton, our 100% organic cotton yarn. Its beautiful drape creates lovely structure and texture, making it especially pleasant to knit and wear in warm weather.

Construction
The Sensommer Vest is a sleeveless sweater that can be worn fitted or slightly oversized. It is worked from the bottom up, beginning with split ribbing, then knitted in the round to the underarms. From there, the piece is worked back and forth to shape the armholes and shoulders, which are formed with short rows and joined using a three-needle bind-off. The vest can also be worked in two pieces, entirely flat.
