"The inspiration behind my design came from a swatch I made in seed stitch while I was working on color combinating our wool bases and I just rediscovered the simple beauty of this stitch pattern. I added the stripes to give the jumper an impression of lightness combined with a contrasting color. I am thinking vacation, happiness, and outdoor life when I look at the Skipavika jumper. The name is actually taken from the road leading up to my grandma's house on the top of an island south of Bergen, Norway. " - Astrid

Skipavika Jumper

Skipavika Jumper is worked in Seed Stitch with two yarns held together and a Stripe Pattern in an alternate color.
The back and the front are worked flat, bottom-up and sewn together with a split hem. The sleeves are worked in the round until the armholes and the sleeve caps are then worked flat. Skipavika Jumper has a V-neck collar in Seed Stitch.
