Isabell writes about her design in Biches & Bûches wool

"Tresse is a classic raglan pullover. The front has a beautiful lace pattern that reminds me of a loose braid – hence the name: Tresse is French for braid. The combination of a classic shape and a delicate pattern is also reflected in my choice of yarn: the authentic Le Petit Lambswool combined with the soft and fluffy Le Petit Silk & Mohair – an absolutely wonderful pairing. The result is a sweater with a beautiful drape, firm yet delicate and soft. A casual wardrobe staple that looks good with your favourite jeans as it does with a dress or a skirt."

Tresse is worked seamlessly from the top down.
First the yoke is worked back and forth, with additional increases towards the front to shape the neckline. Once the final neck CO is made, the front pattern is set up and the yoke is worked in rounds with raglan increases to sleeve separation, where sleeve stitches are put on hold. From this point the body is worked in rounds top down to the split hem. Neck finishing is worked next. Then sleeve stitches are picked up again to work the sleeves in rounds top down to the cuffs.
