Athens Collar Cardigan by Soop Knits

Construction
The Athens Collar Cardigan is a top-down drop-shoulder design with Aran textures and a curved collar. The saddles are worked first, then stitches are picked up to knit the back and fronts, which are joined for the body. Sleeves are worked in the round, and button bands and collar are picked up and knitted last.

The Wool & Yarn
Biches & Bûches Le Petit Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair, held together throughout.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Le Petit Lambswool: 5 (5, 5, 6, 7) (7, 7, 8, 8 ) skeins
Le Petit Silk & Mohair: 6 (6, 6, 7, 8) (8, 8, 9, 9) skeins

Knitting Needles (suggested)
- Circular needles 4 mm / US 6 / UK 8 — 80–100 cm (32–40") for the body, 40 cm (16") for the sleeves
- Circular needles 3 mm / US 2.5 / UK 11 — 40 cm (16") for the ribbing, neckline, and button bands

Gauge
20 stitches and 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4") in seed stitch, worked with larger needles, after blocking.
