We are thrilled to present the Knitting kit for Sensommer Vest
Sensommer Vest is a name for the last days of Summer in Danish, and is a light garment designed with Le Petit Organic Cotton, a 100% organic cotton yarn, perfect for the lighter attire.
Sensommer Vest is designed with a single thread, and a small colorwork pattern on the lower part of the body, bringing a folkloric detail we love, and a joyful contrasting color. We have 12 colors of Le Petit Organic Cotton, which makes it very fun to choose one's own color combination!
It is worked in the round up to the armholes and then back and forth. It is also possible to work it in two pieces and knit it back and forth all the way.
On the photos
- The Blue version is a size X-Small and is knit with the color “Soft Blue Green” with a contrasting color in “Beige”. It is the same vest in both following photos (at the sea and in the studio), but the photo at the sea being taken with film and an analog camera, the colors have come out more vintag-y and warm. The more real color is the one you will see in the photo taken in the little studio, a color more blue than green.
- The Cream version is a size Large and is knit with the color “Cream” and with contrasting color in “Light Peach”. It can be worn as an oversize vest, with an extra fancy-looking touch over a shirt, or tighter without making it oversize.

Custom Colors
You can choose any 2 colors of Le Petit Organic Cotton that you like, and just click on "Custom Colors" when adding your knitting kit to your cart. During checkout, you will be able to write the 2 colors you chose in a description box. That's it! 💌

You can go have a look in the tab called "With your knitting kit", right next to the "Description" tab.
