This small shawl is elegant and full of texture, with an enchanting play of stitch patterns that gently evokes the movement and rhythm of waves.

We love small scarves and shawls — both as the quick, joyful knitting projects they are, and the lovely piece they are to wear. They are perfect for adding a finishing touch to an outfit, and keeping your neck warm as needed.

The River Shawl is worked flat, top down, in three different stitch patterns and finished with a wide garter stitch border. A 3-stitch stockinette edge is worked on each side.
