'The Seward Socks are my idea of the perfect pair of socks to wear inside boots and ankle boots. Here in Alaska, I wear boots almost all year round, and for me, knitting a pair of wool socks is a "must-do" to go with them. I chose to work a jacquard pattern with cables to keep the knitting dynamic throughout the sock, and the result is beautiful! They're knitted top-down with a heel shaped by short rows.' — Caitlin Hunter

Colors & Wool Bundle

The original Editions are in two different colorways, with Le Petit Lambswool in the colors:

- Circular needles 2.5 mm / US 1.5 / UK 12–13 with at least 80 cm (31.5 in) long for the Magic Loop technique

32 stitches and 48 rounds = 10 cm (4 in), knitted in the round after blocking

Sizes & Measurements of the finished knit
Only the foot circumference and the sock height are given, since the foot length can be adjusted as you knit.
The pattern is designed with 0.5 to 2.5 cm of negative ease.
