Knit from the top down with steek stitches at the button band, the front neckline, and the sleeve cap.
The back shoulder is worked flat using the German short-row technique, and the front shoulder is picked up from the back shoulder and worked flat.
The steek technique is used for the front opening while working in the round with the colorwork chart. The sleeves are picked up at the shoulder and worked in the round.

After separating the body and sleeves, both the body and sleeves are knitted in the round and finished with ribbing. The sleeves are also worked in the round down to the cuff and finished with ribbing. Once the body is completed, the center front is cut open.
