Our first version of the Afterparty Sweater was created in our Le Cashmere & Lambswool yarn for issue six of Laine Magazine, and I truly loved both knitting and wearing it. It therefore felt only natural for me to create a second version of this design in our Le Lambswool, thicker wool (DK weight) — one of the first projects I made as we introduced Le Lambswool to our Wool and Yarn Collection.
The sweater is worked from the bottom up, with traditional Norwegian-inspired colorwork motifs across the yoke and a simple shape for an easy fit. As the colorwork is mainly placed on the yoke and only two colors are worked at a time, it is also a lovely project for knitters who do not yet have much experience with colorwork.
