Rui Yamamuro x Amirisu x Biches & Bûches

Presentation by Amirisu

This set (with the matching February Skirt) was designed to enjoy textured stitchwork across seasons. Holding mohair together adds an airy lightness and soft, deep shadow. The rhythm of changing patterns lends a modern edge to classic stitches.

Paired with the matching skirt, it offers a gentle, effortless way to dress up your daily life. Choosing darker shades lends a more subdued, chic atmosphere to the pattern.

Details

Construction
A sweater worked seamlessly from the top down using two strands of yarn held together throughout. Back is worked first, increasing at both shoulders and along armholes. Stitches are then picked up from each shoulder to work front, shaping neckline with increases as you knit. Left and right front pieces are joined at the center front and worked to the underarms while continuing the armhole increases. At the underarms, front and back are joined, and body is worked seamlessly in the round to hem. Sleeves are worked in the round by picking up stitches around the armholes. Finally, neckband ribbing is worked in the round to complete the sweater.
