Introduction

All products and designs on bichesetbuches.com are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction or redistribution of patterns, images, or text without written consent from Biches & Bûches is strictly prohibited. These materials are protected under intellectual property and image rights laws.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which override any other terms unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Products and Pricing

Our products are described with the highest possible accuracy. Our knitting kits are DIY (do-it-yourself) and results may vary depending on your skill level and technique. All prices are listed in Euros and include applicable taxes (VAT) for European Union countries when the customer is logged into their Biches & Bûches customer account. Shipping costs are not included. Prices may change without notice but are fixed at the time of order confirmation. International customers may be subject to additional import duties or taxes.

3. Orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all details entered when placing an order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud, inventory error, or prior unresolved disputes.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are dispatched via tracked shipping (Colissimo or equivalent). Title and risk transfer to the customer upon delivery. Customers must inspect goods upon receipt and report any issues to the carrier within 48 hours. Biches & Bûches is not liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, e.g., war, pandemic, shipping disruptions).

5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

If you are not satisfied with your order, you have the right to notify us within 14 days of receiving your items. You then have an additional 14 days to return the products.

Returned goods must be unused, complete, odor-free, and in their original packaging. Please contact us beforehand at info@bichesetbuches.com.

Digital products (e.g., downloadable PDF patterns) are non-refundable once download has begun, in accordance with UK/EU law, provided the customer has given prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged waiver of withdrawal rights.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Refunds will be issued within 15 days of receipt and inspection of returned goods.

6. Payment

We accept secure payments via Shopify Payments and PayPal. All payments are processed immediately upon checkout. We do not store any payment or card data.

7. Image Credits

All photos and designs are the property of Biches & Bûches® and the respective designers.

8. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by French law. If you reside in the UK or USA and are not satisfied with our handling of a dispute, you may access dispute resolution via:

- EU: Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr)

Biches & Bûches’s liability is strictly limited to the value of the goods ordered and excludes any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Warranties

Products are covered under a 2-year statutory conformity warranty (EU) and implied warranties under UK/US law. In the event of a defective item, we will replace or refund the item as required by applicable consumer protection regulations.

10. Data Privacy

Biches & Bûches complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal data is used solely for the processing of orders and will never be sold or shared without your consent.
