this sweater is inspired by the large wings and unique atmosphere of Shoebill. Shoebill is famous for being almost motionless, but it has impressively large wings, which can cover an adult human.

the yarn is biches & bûches le petit lambswool.

the knitted fabric makes you feel like you are wrapped in the wings of shoebill on a cold winter day. by changing the color of the feathers, you can reflect the image of your favorite bird.

Shoebill is a seamless yoke sweater worked from top-down with simple techniques.

US4(3.5mm) 40cm～60cm/16～24” circular needles
US3(3.25mm) 40cm/16” circular needle for the neck ribbing.

gauge (after blocking) :
24 sts and 35row=10cm/4”in St st with US4 needle.
26 sts and 29 row=10cm/4”in colorwork with US4 needle.
