We are thrilled to present the original Knitting kit for the Copenhagen Sweater, designed by Astrid at the Atelier with the Wool Biches & Bûches Le Gros Lambswool. A big and cosy design knit in two colors, it has a high collar and the other borders in twisted ribbing used as a statement feature. The Copenhagen Sweater has an oversized fit and it is also a great project for new knitters. It will definitely keep you warm and really cosy. A classic, with an elegant touch 🐚

The Copenhagen Sweater is worked top-down and in the round in stockinette stitch with a stripe pattern. The neckline is shaped using Short Rows and the borders are in 1/1 Half Twisted Ribbing.

• 14 sts and 22 rounds = 10cm/4” in stockinette stitch using the larger needles

• 5mm/ UK6/ US8 circular needles for the ribbings and dpns for the sleeves + 5.5mm/ UK5/ US9 circular needles and dpns for the sleeves

Ease : On the photo, Astrid is wearing the offwhite sweater in a size Large having 44cm/17” positive ease in chest circumference and the dark grey sweater in a size Medium having 36cm/14” positive ease in chest circumference.

Astrid is 1M72 and usually wears a size 38-40 European size. The creamy Copenhagen version (Off White striped with the Very Dark Blue) is knit in a size Large. The grey Copenhagen version (Dark Grey striped with the Off White) is a size Medium.
