It is worked from the top down with steek seams at the button band, front neck, and sleeve cap. The back shoulder is worked flat using a German short row, and the front shoulder is picked up from the shoulder and worked flat.
The steek technique will be used for the front when working in the round with the colorwork chart. The Sleeves are picked up at the shoulder and worked in the round.

After separating the body and sleeves, both the body and sleeves are worked in the round and finished with ribbing. Sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuff and finished with ribbing as well.

Once the body is finished, the center front is cut open.
