Terra Cardigan by Joanna Filip

Sale price€93,33 EUR

We are delighted to present Terra Cardigan designed by Joanna Filip with Le Petit Lambswool in its beautiful deep and heathered Dark Brown color 🐚

Terra Cardigan is a stunning piece, elegant, full of texture and character. Joanna is an amazing Knitwear designer based in Bruxelles, Belgium, with whom we have had the immense pleasure of collaborating with for several pieces of her design Collection.

'Terraā€ means earth in Latin, and that is exactly the feeling I wanted for this cardigan. Is inspired by the deep, rich brown of Le Petit Lambswool. The simple texture gives it a little character, and the colour keeps it calm and grounded. It is a cosy piece that works well all year round and feels made to wear every day.'

Details

Construction
'The cardigan is knitted in a dedicated stitch pattern from the top down, seamlessly. The back is worked first, followed by the shoulders. Once the back and fronts are joined, they are knitted together flat and finished with a 1x1 rib hem. The sleeves are then worked in the round. Next, stitches are picked up along the front edges to create plackets, which are worked in 1x1 rib, and then, the stitches are picked up along the neckline to make the neckband, also in a 1x1 rib. Finally, toggle buttons are sewn on after the cardigan is finished.

Sizes 1–2 feature straight sleeves, while larger sizes have tapered sleeves to reduce excess width at the elbow and cuffs.'
