We are delighted to present Winter Bulbs Cowl, designed by Laura from Mimosa Cafe Lanar, with Le Coton & Alpaca 🐚 Laura is known for her romantic and delicate patterns, and she runs her lovely yarn shop online called Mimosa Cafe lanar, based in Spain, where she also offers Biches & Bûches yarns and many lovely projects.

'Winter Bulbs Cowl is easy to knit and perfect for beginners in colorwork. For the design, I was inspired by the beautiful tulips in my garden, which I love tending to throughout the winter.'

Details

The cowl is knitted in the round using circular needles. You will work the colorwork with two colors at a time, following an easy-to-read chart.

The yarn
Biches & Bûches Le Coton & Alpaca
1 skein of 50 g in each of the three colors
The yarn requirement is based on using 1 skein of the main color. Please check your gauge carefully to ensure you have enough yarn

Knitting Needles
5 mm / US 8 / UK 6 Circular Needles - 50 cm (20") cable
4.5 mm / US 7 / UK 7) Circular Needles for the ribbing
or adjust needle size to obtain gauge

Gauge
16 stitches × 18 rounds in stockinette stitch, worked in the round = 10 × 10 cm / 4" × 4"

One size
25 cm × 26 cm (9.8" × 10.2")

How to wash
Always handwash and lay flat to dry - Handle with care and make sure not to stretch your knit while wet
