CONSTRUCTION

The shawl is worked in 2 pieces, the border and
the main body.
The border is worked first, from tip-to-tip.
Then stitches are picked up along the long straight edge of the border for the main body, which is shaped first with increases at the left and right edges and then with German Short Rows to create a crescent.
