We are thrilled to present our first collaboration with Tayler, and her design in Le Petit Lambswool, the gorgeous Skye Cardigan!

Tayler writes about Skye Cardigan

"I wanted to create a cardigan that was light with delicate details. Le Petit Lambswool was the perfect yarn to bring the vision to life. The finished fabric is soft, lightweight, yet so warm... it’s like a gentle hug. Skye is the perfect everyday cardigan, that will fit seamlessly into any wardrobe."

The cardigan ribbings are worked flat separately, from the bottom up, then joined to work the body in one piece.

The body is divided at the armholes, and the Left Front, Right Front, and Back are worked separately.

The necklines are shaped using decreases and by binding off stitches, and shoulders are shaped using Wrap and Turn Short Rows.

The shoulders are joined using the 3-Needle Bind Off, and the sleeves are picked up at the armhole edge.

The ribbed Neckband is worked from picked up stitches around the neckline, in 1 x 1 ribbing, with buttonholes.

Pockets are knit from the top-down and sewn to the fronts after blocking. To finish, buttons are sewn onto Neckband.
