"The cardigan is worked from the top down, beginning at the neckline. Shoulder shaping is done first using short rows, followed by the upper body. The sleeves are then separated at the underarms, and the body is worked flat. The sleeve stitches held on waste yarn are worked in the round. Stitches are picked up along the front edges to create the button band. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to knit the collar."
