Details

Construction
'The back neckline and shoulders are worked first, using short rows to shape the upper back. The back and the armhole edgings are then knitted flat down to the underarms. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders to work the fronts down to the base of the V-neck, where they are joined. The front and back are connected under the arms with small gussets, and the body is then worked in the round down to the ribbed hem. Because the vest is knitted top-down, the length can be adjusted as you go (please note: any modification will affect the yarn requirements).'
