Talvinen by Caitlin Hunter

Sale priceCHF 62.00

Talvinen is a gorgeous design by Caitlin Hunter from @BoyLandKnitworks

The colors Caitlin choose reminded her of a twist on traditional Finnish garments, which often use blue, red, white and gold in intricately embroidered designs. Talvinen was inspired by the Sielulintu, the Soul-bird in Finnish folklore.

"Talvinen" means winter in Finnish. it is a little tribute to her Finnish grandmother, Julia, and a reminder of the beauty of winter, her favorite season. she has been working on this bird motif for a long time, and is so pleased it finally worked out to her liking.
