Construction
The River Jumper is knitted top-down using two different stitch motifs. You begin by working the back neckline, using short rows to shape the shoulders, then knit the back flat down to just below the armholes. Next, stitches are picked up along the back shoulders to work the front. The front is knitted flat, shaping the V-neck, down to just below the armholes. The back and front are then joined and knitted in the round for the lower body. Sleeve stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are worked top-down in the round to a 3/4 length. We have included instructions for two bind-off methods — a classic 1x1 rib bind-off and an Italian bind-off — so you can choose your preferred finish.
