This is the gorgeous Athens Cardigan, designed by Manmi from Soop Knits. Originally designed with another Wool base in 2021, Manmi made a new version in 2024 with Biches & Bûches Le Lambswool + Le Petit Silk & Mohair held together. This version became one of her most loved patterns, and today we are thrilled to offer on Biches & Bûches the Wool Bundle for this version.

The cardigan is worked from the top down. Starting with the back shaping with short rows, after the shaping is complete the back is worked until the underarms, then the stitches are put on hold.

Stitches for the shoulders are picked up along the shaped edge. The left and right front are worked separately to the underarms. Underarm onwards, front and back are joined together and worked in one piece. When the body is completed, stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armhole opening and worked in the round to the cuff. Stitches for the button bands and neckband are picked up and worked in 2x2 ribbing.
