The sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round. First the body and then the sleeves are worked in the round to the armholes. At the armholes, body and sleeves are joined for the yoke, which is worked in the round with decreases between the sections in pattern. The top of the yoke is worked back and forth, while stitches are bound off to shape the neckline. After this, a collar is worked, starting with a repeat of pattern and ending with rib.
The sweater has rib edges and a simple slipped stitch pattern (Stripe Pattern) with St st sections in between the sections worked the pattern.
