A few words from Rie

"I live in Japan and started knit design in Ravelry in 2016. I studied clothing at a technical school when I was young, but after that I worked in the photography industry and art galleries before arriving at my current knitting lifestyle. The fashion images of the 1960s~1970s, which I have loved since I was young, have accumulated in me, and I think my designs are inspired by them. Now that I live in the countryside, I am moved every day by the daily scenery, the seasonal color changes of the mountains, and the changing nature. I would like to add these things to my designs as well." – Rie

Custom Color & Wool Bundle

The beanie "Drawing" is designed with Le Gros Lambswool + Le Gros Silk & Mohair
The original colors are Off White in Le Gros Lambswool + Hay in Le Gros Silk & Mohair for the light version, and for the darker version
If you would like to knit your beanie in another color combination, you can choose a color in Le Gros Lambswool and a color in Le Gros Silk & Mohair. Then select "Custom Color" when adding your wool bundle to the cart and share your choice with us during checkout or via the Chat 💌 We added photos for different color combinations ideas, feel free to contact us if you would like to see other color combinations!

FAQ

Is the pattern included with the Wool Bundle I can purchase here?

No, for Copyright reasons, the pattern is not included, but we link to the Designers website and/ or Ravelry page in the Description :)

Can I choose another color for my Wool bundle/ Sweater to kit?

Yes! :) Choose the color you want from our Wool page (from the same wool type), then select here "Custom Color" when adding your Wool bundle to your cart, and just tell us your color choice during checkout! There will be a little box where you can share additional information, just write it there :)

What is in my Wool bundle?

You can go have a look in the tab called "With your wool bundle", right next to the "Description" tab :)

CONSTRUCTION

Drawing is a hat featuring 2x1 ribbing, Horizontal Chain, and seed stitches that appears to float.
The seed stitches are knit with thick mohair and main yarn together, so that they become slightly puffy in that area. You can combine it with your favorite colors of mohair yarn.
Available in two sizes, just fit and slightly loose fit.

1 (1) skein.
Sample color is Dark grey (size 1), Off white (size 2).

Le Gros Silk & Mohair by Biches & Bûches (for the seed stitch part)
1 (1) ball.
Sample color is Gold mohair (size 1), Hay (size 2).

GAUGE AND SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZES

8 stitches and 11.5 rows = 5 cm in stockinette stitch

HOW TO WASH

• Handwash, 30°C
• Dry flat on a towel
• Manipulate with care while wet so your knit doesn't get stretched

How to prepare your knitting project

Step 1

Make sure that you have all the needle sizes used for your next knitting project. You can find all our knitting needles in the "Knitting Tools" menu.

Step 2

Select your wool bundle in your preferred colors, either the Original Color or Custom Color for your customized project color.

Step 3

Purchase the knitting pattern directly at the designers website or on Ravelry (it is not included in our wool bundles due to copyright), following the link in the description above 🎊
