Le Lambswool is part our Lambswool range - with Le Petit Lambswool and Le Gros Lambswool - and is in the middle in terms of weight and thickness. Created and produced in the same fiber-mill in Scotland, with traditional Savoir-Faire.

Le Lambswool is a delicious DK weight to knit with, that feels so soft and light, keeping its slightly rustic touch for wearability and durability. A sweater knit with Le Lambswool will feel so light and keep you warm and cosy. The color palette of 28 colors is soft and cosy like an evening in front of the chimney, but blending our lightest colors you will make a crispy style like our Norwegian Mountain Jumper.

When starting to think about a woolen company, Astrid was in search of the yarn she wanted to knit her designs with and to offer in our boutique. She was looking for something rustic, that reminded her of her trip to Norway in 1995 when she re-discovered the pure wool from the Norwegian sheep, as well as her Scandinavian roots. A yarn that would make a sturdy sweater, to be worn throughout the years. And that rustic yarn would have to be blended with a soft feeling, that felt good knitting with, and of course, that felt good wearing too. She found the wool that she was looking for in Scotland and it has become the heart of our yarn collection and designs.

We hope that you will love it as much as we do!

"The yarn from Biches & Bûches is known for its rustic feel and beautiful stitch definition. Just looking at a finished piece made with it makes me incredibly happy, which is why it is one of my favorite yarns to use. I already completed several projects with it and I highly recommend you experience it as well."

Jessica McDonald a créé le Bough Sweater avec Le Lambswool @Jessicamknits

"Le Lambswool creates an absolutely dreamy fabric. It is the perfect combination of rustic and soft, and I love how the fabric is airy and warm with just a touch of drape to it. It's an absolutely stunning sweater yarn, and I know I'll be knitting with it again."
