as an introduction to her pattern, andrea writes : “this lightweight pullover is a sweet, elegant treasure that will carry you between seasons. the yoke pattern is simple but mesmerizing, making it a wonderful first sweater pattern and a wardrobe staple. i named it after seablush, a plant that produces wonderful little pink puffballs of flowers because of their colour. it’s native to Vancouver Island and was one of the first plants I ever grew in my garden.”

how to determine your size : you can take your favorite knitted sweater, worked in a yarn similar to the one you are considering, and measure its dimensions. it may not have the exact same shape, but it will give you an idea of the size to choose ! a sweater in thin wool is often designed a little loose, so it is best to choose a slightly larger than smaller size, and the biches & bûches designs are actually not intended to be worn tight <3
