We are very happy to present the Inner Child Jumper designed by Lucy from Atelier Ajour in the Biches & Bûches Le Lambswool.

A few words from Lucy

"The "Inner Child" jumper is very special to me. It was designed in a phase where I got so insecure about designing and where I thought a lot about what I should design instead of what I want to design. I just mix-matched lots of different stitch patterns. Of course, lace pattern was a must, and there was some clustering and duplicating sts. It was a very fun knit which reminded me that I started designing because it was fun and joyful to create something unique out of your mind.

I have chosen Biches & Bûches Le Lambswool because I was looking for a „rustic“ yarn. I usually knit fingering weight of single merino with silk mohair yarn, but in this case I was looking for some other vibe. And your yarn is natural, and it has beautiful colour shades.

It was really a joy to knit with Le Lambswool. It is soft and easy to knit with and delightful on my skin, I absolutely adore this version in Le Lambswool!" – Lucy

CONSTRUCTION

Starting with a double folded neckband, the pattern sts are imbedded on the front panel and sleeves. The sleeves are rather wide at the beginning and becomes slim to the underarm.
With the technique double stitch, you can create a decorative colourwork on the top of your garment. If you want to go down to the sleeves or just add a little bit of accent, it’s your choice.
The chart for the front panel should be printed on a A3 paper, otherwise you can try to work on a tablet.
