This project has been such a joy to create. We have loved knitting, wearing, and secretly carrying it around with us over the past few weeks. It is a fun and delightful knit that is perfect for adding a touch of color and texture to the wardrobe and cosiness. It is also a perfect Spring project.
Inspired by our very first Biches & Bûches Collection, which featured sweaters and colorwork designs incorporating the same special stitch. We have had so much fun adapting this stitch into a shawl, using our new color palette to dream up gorgeous combinations.
Designed with our signature Le Petit Lambswool, the shawl comes in two original colorways that we have completely fallen in love with: Green Pink Turquoise, Orange Red, Off White & Dark Green Brown, and Off White, Very Light Blue. We really enjoy the process of curating the perfect colors for a project, and this shawl is no exception. It has been a playful and creative time choosing and experimenting with these shades.
We are also thrilled to share that a third edition of the little Isla Shawl quickly followed the first two, featuring a soft and dreamy blending with Beige, Rose Grey, and Soft Green Grey. We are already imagining more combinations and cannot wait to see your Isla Shawls <3
