Biches & Bûches x Manmi
We are so happy to introduce the gorgeous Smocky Cardigan that signs our first collaboration with Manmi.
"The Smocky Cardigan is based on a combination of smock stitch and a few cable stitches, with minimal use of seed stitch, creating different patterns for each size. The 2XS, XS, and S sizes feature a simpler design. Due to the different row gauges of the smock stitch compared to other stitches, light blocking is needed after washing.
The cardigan is designed to be oversized. The model with a 90 cm / 35.4” bust is wearing a size M (finished bust circumference approximately 120 cm / 47”). I recommend a positive ease of about 25-30 cm / 10-12” around the bust.
Each size has its own chart to follow. For those who find reading charts in short-row shaping challenging, a full yoke chart is included. The yoke of the back and front panels is worked following the charts, and the body is knitted by repeating the previous patterns."
