The Heima er best mohair edition shawl is our first collaboration with Sandra Granquist, a knitwear designer from Iceland.
A few words from Sandra
Hi! My name is Sandra Granquist. I live in a small village in northern Iceland with my two kids. I have knitted all my life, but recently started my designing journey.
And about her design
"Heima er best shawl mohair edition is knitted from the softest most precious mohair and silk yarn I know of: Le Petite Silk & Mohair yarn from Biches & Bûches. Since the shawl is knitted from a single strand of silk and mohair yarn, it is thin and light and therefore it feels like wearing a cloud.
The shawl is large and you can wrap yourself up in it, as well as wearing it around your shoulders without the shawl getting too big.
It is called Heima er best, which means "Home sweet home" in Icelandic."

Is the pattern included with the Wool Bundle I can purchase here?
No, for Copyright reasons, the pattern is not included, but we link to the Designers website and/ or Ravelry page in the Description :)
Can I choose another color for my Wool bundle/ Sweater to kit?
Yes! :) Choose the color you want from our Wool page (from the same wool type), then select here "Custom Color" when adding your Wool bundle to your cart, and just tell us your color choice during checkout! There will be a little box where you can share additional information, just write it there :)
What is in my Wool bundle?
You can go have a look in the tab called "With your wool bundle", right next to the "Description" tab :)

• Manipulate with care while wet so your knit doesn't get stretched
How to prepare your knitting project
Step 1
Make sure that you have all the needle sizes used for your next knitting project. You can find all our knitting needles in the "Knitting Tools" menu.
Step 2
Select your wool bundle in your preferred colors, either the Original Color or Custom Color for your customized project color.
Step 3
Purchase the knitting pattern directly at the designers website or on Ravelry (it is not included in our wool bundles due to copyright), following the link in the description above 🎊
